xquid.org reaches its first thousand visitors
After two months, xquid.org has reached a thousand visitors. Though for certain people this number can be insignificative, we are proud to announce it after months of work in building our community and deciding the best way to do it. Now, people from several places over the world knows about xQuiD and more than 200 people have downloaded xQuiD Core, xQuiD plug-in or both.

This is just the beginning and there's still much work to do. New features, widgets, demonstrations and other stuff are comming.
If you don't know what xQuiD can do for you, remember that you can refer to the project documentation at SourceForge and to the xQuiDFramework channel in YouTube.
Also remember you can follow us in Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date!

New video on YouTube. xQuiD Ajax Basics
Explanation on how to fill an xQuiD table with data retrieved from a JSON service.
In this video tutorial we use xQuiD Eclipse Plug-in to build a new product list component and reuse it inside another component to add filtering capabilities to the initial table component . Finally, we map the table columns to the model retrieved from a JSON service.
If you have any suggestions about new video tutorials on how to do something, please, don't hesitate to contact us.

xQuiD Eclipse Plug-in can be downloaded
xQuiD Plug-in for Eclipse is finally free and ready to be downloaded.
We are proud to announce xQuiD Plug-in avalaibility, after months of working to build xQuiD Community. By now, xQuiD Plug-in is not open-source, although it can be downloaded and used freely. But never mind, we are working to open it in few weeks, and every contribution will be welcome. We have a lot of ideas to improve our framework but we know a lot of good ideas are in mind of lots of clever and experiencied developers, and this is the richness of working in community, so your feedback and contribution will be received with great enthusiasm.
xQuiD plug-in can be downloaded from xquid website and has been tested under Eclipse Europa and Ganymede releases.
Feedback can be provided through the forums and tracker hosted in the Sourceforge open-source portal. Links to all SourceForge resources are provided in the community section of the project website.
